Implementation of the Rancho Queimado Agritourism Route

About the case

At Girus Soluções em Turismo, we work on the development of tourist destinations and ventures using a strategic, technical, and collaborative approach, connecting planning, qualification, and market positioning. In Rancho Queimado, our work began at the end of 2025 and continues throughout 2026, focusing on the structuring and implementation of... Rancho Queimado Agritourism Route

The project arose from the identification of rural initiatives with great tourism potential, but which were still operating in isolation, without integration, standardization, or structured marketing strategies. Our role is to transform these initiatives into an organized tourism product, capable of generating value for local entrepreneurs, strengthening the municipality's identity, and increasing its attractiveness as a destination.

Local partnerships and calls for investment.

We began our work by engaging with the municipality and local stakeholders, establishing dialogue with rural entrepreneurs interested in joining the route. We led the process of building and promoting a... public call for proposals, ensuring clear participation criteria and encouraging the participation of different types of rural properties.

This step was crucial for presenting the proposal, aligning expectations, and building a solid base of participants for the project's development.

Kick-off meeting

As an initial step in the work, we carried out the kick-off meeting with interested entrepreneurs. The meeting focused on:

  • To present the concept of the Rancho Queimado Agritourism Route;
  • Explain our methodology;
  • Detail the project stages and the planned schedule;
  • To promote engagement and collective alignment.

The meeting solidified the collaborative nature of the project and prepared the participants for the following technical stages.

Initial diagnostic form

After the kick-off, we developed and implemented a structured information gathering form, This form, used as a strategic tool to understand the profile of interested properties, allowed us to map:

  • Activities carried out;
  • Experiences with tourism potential;
  • Facilities available for receiving visitors;
  • Service capacity and availability;
  • Products and services offered.

Until now, 17 businesses responded to the form., providing essential data for route planning and the organization of technical visits.

Technical diagnosis of the projects

Based on the information gathered, we begin the phase of on-site technical diagnosis. The visits allow us to analyze each project individually, considering:

  • Infrastructure and organization of spaces;
  • Visual communication, signage and identity;
  • Visitor service flow;
  • Potential for tourist experiences;
  • Opportunities for improvement tailored to the specific needs of each property.

To date, we have already conducted diagnostic assessments for the following projects:

Training and monitoring of improvements

As part of our work, the following are planned: training workshops aimed at participating entrepreneurs, covering topics such as visitor service, organizing experiences, communication, and pricing.

In parallel, we will carry out the analysis of the improvements implemented, monitoring the implementation of technical guidelines and evaluating the impacts of these actions on improving the quality of the tourist experience.

Visual identity and promotional material

The structuring of the tourism product includes the development of visual identity of the Rancho Queimado Agrotourism Route, an essential element for unifying communication, strengthening route recognition, and supporting outreach efforts.

As a consolidation step, we will be responsible for formatting a digital catalog, bringing together all the experiences of the route, with clear information for the visitor and a focus on promoting the destination.

Next steps and project consolidation.

Technical visits and diagnostics will continue throughout the process. first half of 2026, ...encompassing all participating projects. At the end of this stage, we will develop a... Consolidated material from the Rancho Queimado Agrotourism Route, bringing together and presenting the structured experiences in the municipality.

Expected result

The Agrotourism Route is consolidating itself as a tool for valuing the rural environment, strengthening local entrepreneurs, and positioning the municipality as an authentic, organized destination aligned with the new demands of contemporary tourism.
