Santo Amaro da Imperatriz: Structuring and Strengthening Tourism Management in 2026

About the case

Contextualization

In 2026, we began a structuring operation in Santo Amaro da Imperatriz with a very clear objective: to organize tourism in a practical, strategic, and continuous way.

The municipality sought out SEBRAE/SC to implement a set of actions aimed at strengthening the sector. Within this process, Girus Soluções em Turismo was selected to technically conduct this work.

From the outset, we understood that tourism development happens when communication, information, signage, products, and management work together. That's what we're building throughout 2026: a solid foundation for tourism growth in the municipality.

Social media

We start with what is most visible: the destination's digital presence.

We take over the management of the official social media channels with planning, organization, and consistency. More than just creating posts, we organize how the municipality communicates. We define priorities, structure a calendar, and align each piece of content with the positioning that Santo Amaro da Imperatriz wants to consolidate.

For us, communication is not just about promotion. It's about building an image and strengthening identity.

Official Tourism Website

The website visitesantoamaro.com.br It also underwent important updates.

We organized a regular update routine, improved the structure of the categories, reviewed information, and created a workflow to ensure that content is constantly fed and kept up-to-date.

More than just keeping the website online, we are working to make it an active platform that truly helps visitors and promotes the municipality's tourism products.

Our goal is to establish it as the main official source of information about tourism in Santo Amaro and as an organized showcase of the experiences that the destination offers.

Signaling

Tourist signage is one of the most important stages of the project.

In 2026, we are developing wayfinding signs and tourist information signs. The texts have already been written and the artwork is under development.

Signage isn't just about installing signs. It's about helping visitors understand the area, find their way around easily, and make the most of their experience. When a destination is more organized, it becomes stronger.

Promotional material

We are developing the new official tourism brochure, with an updated map and organized content to highlight nature, culture, and gastronomy.

Well-planned printed material remains an important positioning tool, especially for visitor service and promotional activities.

Connecting the physical and digital worlds.

In 2026, we also structured the production of QR Code displays for installation in lodging establishments, restaurants, public offices, and service points.

The idea is simple: to facilitate access to official information and connect the visitor to the destination's digital environment.

Data analysis

Since January 2026, the municipality has had access to version 3.0 of Toordata.

We are advising on the use of the platform and organizing strategic indicators to support safer decisions.

We have also begun implementing the Platform. Visit More. This Progressive Web App (PWA) was developed for Smart Tourist Destinations, enhancing the visitor experience through the discovery of attractions via QR Code and gamification (achievements and emotional feedback).

For tourism managers, the platform offers comprehensive analyses of visitation patterns, visitor satisfaction levels, and engagement.

The system is structured as a configurable SaaS platform, allowing customization for different destinations, with dynamic theming and content management.

Cycling Circuit

The Cycling Tourism Circuit is one of the municipality's strategic products, and in 2026, we will continue to strengthen its structure.

Maps, signage, route identification, creation of the official website page, and governance organization are among the expected deliverables.

Our focus is not just on installing signs. It's on structuring the product, organizing those involved, and ensuring continuity, because a strong tourism product is born from organization.

Cultural identity

We also developed the new brand for the Culture Department of Santo Amaro da Imperatriz.

The brand was built based on the municipality's institutional principles, respecting its history, cultural expressions, and positioning. The goal was to create an identity that represents the local culture in a clear, coherent, and strategic way.

Valuing culture strengthens a destination's identity—and a well-defined identity generates recognition, belonging, and differentiation.

Our commitment

In Santo Amaro da Imperatriz, we are not just carrying out tasks. We are helping to organize tourism in a structured way.

The municipality's initiative in seeking out SEBRAE/SC demonstrated strategic vision. Having been selected to lead this process, we assumed the responsibility of transforming planning into concrete action.

2026 is the year to build solid foundations: organized communication, clearly marked territory, structured products, and smarter management.

This is how we believe tourism development should work: with continuity, clarity, and responsibility.
