Introduction
In this case study, we will present theCosta Verde & Mar Experiences A memorable project executed by Girus Soluções em Turismo, through a partnership between the Costa Verde & Mar Intermunicipal Tourism Consortium (CITMAR) and Sebrae/SC. The project, initiated in 2021, began to be implemented with the assistance of Girus Soluções em Turismo in 2023. This project was developed with the objective of valuing the cultural and natural identity of the territory, attracting tourists and visitors throughout the year, and strengthening tourism businesses in the Costa Verde & Mar region.
The Context
Located in the north-central region of the state of Santa Catarina, the Costa Verde & Mar (Green Coast & Sea) comprises the municipalities of Balneário Camboriú, Balneário Piçarras, Bombinhas, Camboriú, Ilhota, Itajaí, Itapema, Navegantes, Penha, and Porto Belo. It is a renowned tourist destination offering a diverse range of leisure and entertainment options for various audiences. With enchanting natural beauty, typical cuisine, varied cultural events, and shopping opportunities, the region provides a diverse and complete experience for tourists and visitors from various regions of Brazil and abroad.
The Partnership with Girus Tourism Solutions
An innovative initiative that emerged from the collaboration between the Costa Verde & Mar Intermunicipal Tourism Consortium (CITMAR) and Sebrae/SC, the Costa Verde & Mar Experiences project is transforming the region into an epicenter of sustainable and enriching tourism experiences, as well as fostering the economic development of tourism businesses located in the municipalities that make up the Costa Verde & Mar.
Girus Soluções em Turismo's involvement in the development of the Costa Verde & Mar Experiências project included the following activities:

- Brand Development:Based on the brand concepts of the Costa Verde & Mar tourist region, the Costa Verde & Mar Experiências brand was created, representing the main attributes that make up the region's tourist appeal, with an emphasis on the green of the forests, the sun, and the beautiful beaches.
- Social Media Management:Implementation and active management of social media Costa Verde & Mar Experiências aims to build an online community and promote the project.
- Website Development: Development of a informative website which functions as a central information hub for tourists and visitors interested in having memorable tourist experiences.
The Results
The Costa Verde & Mar Experiências project quickly gained recognition and success, generating the following results:
- Offering 13 tourist experiences linked to different themes such as: Art and Culture, Gastronomy, Nature and Adventure, Wine and Cachaça.
- Support for attracting tourists and visitors from various regions of Brazil and abroad, mainly from Argentina, Chile, and Paraguay.
- Contributing to the economic development of the municipalities that make up the Costa Verde & Mar region, boosting the tourism production chain in the area;
