Project context<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

O S\u00e3o Pedro de Alc\u00e2ntara Cycling Circuit<\/strong> It was created with the goal of enhancing the rural landscapes of the municipality, stimulating active tourism, and structuring cycle tourism as an organized, safe, and integrated tourism product within the territory. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the implementation of the first section (2024) \u2014 already signposted, publicized and incorporated into the municipality's tourism strategy \u2014 the need arose, collaboratively between the local management group, public authorities and Girus Solu\u00e7\u00f5es em Turismo, through SEBRAE, to expand the circuit<\/strong>, expanding its reach and making it more inclusive for different types of cyclists. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The expansion of the circuit stemmed from a clear premise: to offer routes with varying levels of difficulty.<\/strong>, capable of serving everyone from beginner cyclists and families to more experienced riders, strengthening S\u00e3o Pedro de Alc\u00e2ntara as a regional cycling tourism destination. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Objective of the expansion<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The creation of two new sections had the following main objectives: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Diversify the difficulty levels of the circuit, expanding the audience served;\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    • To make bicycle touring more accessible to beginners, families, and occasional cyclists;\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      • To promote rural areas, historic roads, and natural landscapes that are still relatively unexplored by tourism;\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

            Vila Hoffmann Circuit<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

            With\u00a022.62 km long<\/strong>\u00a0e\u00a0477 meters of accumulated elevation gain<\/strong>, The Vila Hoffmann Circuit was planned to cater to cyclists of\u00a0intermediate level<\/strong>, offering a challenging yet contemplative experience.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            The route traverses old rural roads, preserved forest areas, and regions of strong historical and cultural value, connecting cyclists with the identity of the territory. The route combines sections of moderate physical exertion with landscapes that reinforce the rural and authentic character of S\u00e3o Pedro de Alc\u00e2ntara.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Just like the original circuit, the route is fully signposted<\/strong>, ensuring safety, guidance and autonomy for users. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Dona Domingas Ranch Circuit<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Designed to democratize access to cycle tourism, the Est\u00e2ncia Dona Domingas Circuit has... 7.9 km long<\/strong> and only 98 meters of accumulated elevation<\/strong>, being classified as easy level<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

            It's the ideal option for: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

                    Launch and mobilization event<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

                    To officially mark the delivery of the two new sections, an event was held on the day\u00a0November 23, 2025<\/strong>\u00a0the event\u00a0\u201cRad Fest II Pedal\u201d<\/strong>, focusing on the dissemination and practical experience of the new circuits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                    In addition to promoting sport and leisure, the event reinforced S\u00e3o Pedro de Alc\u00e2ntara as a destination prepared to receive cyclists, with infrastructure, organization, and well-defined routes.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                              A Girus Tourism Solutions<\/strong> It acted strategically in supporting the structuring of the circuit, contributing to the planning and organization of the tourism product and strengthening cycle tourism as a policy for sustainable territorial development. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

                              The project reinforces Girus's vision that Well-planned tourism is a tool for inclusion, enhancing the value of the territory, and generating opportunities.<\/strong>, especially in municipalities with a strong rural identity and preserved natural landscapes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
